Custom Veneers for Your Unique Smile
If you dream of achieving brighter, straighter-looking teeth, we can help make it a reality with dental veneers.
Veneers are cosmetic dental restorations designed to improve the appearance of your smile for dramatic and natural-looking results. They are used to change the look of teeth that are broken, stained, smaller than desired, or when you have unwanted gaps between them.

Veneers are thin shells made of specialized materials that are permanently bonded to the front of your teeth. Veneers are designed to improve the appearance of your teeth and are custom-made to look natural and healthy.
Veneers can address:
- Stains and discolouration
- Damaged teeth
- Misaligned teeth
- Irregularly shaped or sized teeth
- Gaps between teeth

Getting Customized Veneers
During your dental exam, we’ll be happy to discuss your interest in veneers, explain your options, and tell you what to expect. We’ll also go over your goals and examine your oral health to make sure this is the right route to take when it comes to improving your smile.
For some people, treating gum disease or cavities is necessary to have a healthy mouth before embarking on veneers.
Every person’s teeth are different, but the following steps are typical when it comes to getting veneers.
To prepare your teeth for veneers, your dentist reshapes the surfaces of your teeth. This part of the process prepares your teeth for the application of veneers. Your dentist may numb the area to avoid any discomfort.
Your teeth are unique, and so are your custom veneers.
Designing and creating your veneers requires taking an impression of your teeth. The impression will be sent off to make your permanent veneers. It can take up to a few weeks for the completed veneers to be ready. In the meantime, temporary veneers may be applied to your teeth.
When the completed veneers arrive at our office, we’ll schedule an appointment to permanently bond them to your teeth.
Before applying them, we’ll examine their fit and function and make any necessary adjustments. The last step permanently applies the veneers to your natural teeth.
Digital Smile Design and 3D-Printed Smile Solutions
At Markham Dental, we combine cosmetic dentistry with modern digital technology to create precise, personalized smile transformations. Our 3D printing capabilities allow our team to streamline the planning and creation process, helping us design and deliver customized solutions with greater efficiency and accuracy.
Using digital scans and advanced planning, we can evaluate your smile, visualize potential outcomes, and create restorations designed to complement your facial features and oral function. For select cases, our in-office 3D printing technology can support same-day smile enhancements, reducing wait times while maintaining the quality and attention to detail you expect.
Whether you are considering veneers or a complete smile transformation, our digital approach allows us to provide a more comfortable, predictable, and personalized experience from consultation to final result.

Long-Lasting Results with Dental Veneers
Veneers can, on average, last 7–10 years before eventually needing replacement. Continuing to follow a good oral hygiene routine will support the health of your teeth and gums, as well as the longevity of your veneers.
At your next dental exam, talk to your dentist about veneers and whether they fit your dental needs. Book your next appointment.
